Camp Freedom - Residential is an overnight camp experience for Rio Grande Valley youth ages 6 to 14 who have diabetes. Our camp offers an authentic camp experience that many would never have the opportunity to have. Traditional camping can pose many obstacles when dealing with diabetes, but at Camp Freedom - Residential the campers enjoy camp activities in a safe environment.

Under the skilled supervision of trained camp counselors and medical staff, our campers enjoy walks, water games, arts and crafts, and a variety of other outdoor games and activities. They learn and practice diabetes management techniques that will help them improve their diabetes management plans and lead more active lives long after their camp experience.
